We went to Outback last Thursday for a delayed Valentine’s Day dinner because of the ice storm that visited us on the week of the 14th prevented us from going.
We go to Outback for their steaks and their coconut shrimp. They are the most consistent restaurant chain when it comes to quality. Compared to other steak houses, it’s moderately priced and has a very comfortable atmosphere. I particularly like the dim room with individual overhead table lamps that makes each table feel cozy and intimate.
Eversince I was introduced to Outback when I first came here in the US, I have been ordering the same thing- Victoria’s fillet with Aussie chips(with the option of veggies, sometimes salad). I discovered their clam chowder the last time we went and I just had to have it. It’s the best clam chowder I’ve had or even the best cream based seafood I’ve ever tasted. It is a far cry from a crab soup from an overpriced fine dining restaurant we tried before. A bowl of it is a meal by it self. It’s very flavorful and loaded with clam tidbits.
You have to try it for yourself!
P.S. If you have a child/children, I recommend their Mac ‘n Cheese from the kid’s meal. It’s so good too! I don’t usually eat mac ‘n cheese but I usually look forward to my daughter’s leftovers.

Clam chowder, hmmm, mukhang masarap nga! i look sa site, mukhang okey siya, and wala nyan sa france, kainis!
makapunta na nga dyan, lol
My family likes going to Outback. My husband loves steak but I like their burgers. I love their clam chowder too. My favorite appetizer is the onion rings served like a ‘tower’.
Thanks for visiting my blog.
Happy weekend!
