Spring Cleaning List
May 2, 2007 – 10:53 am
We had a late Spring. So I had an excuse for being late in my Spring cleaning <*grin*>. I wanted a ’structured’ way of doing such an overwhelming task. It should allow me to check on my progress. I am still trying to be a good homemaker, you see.
I found very helpful articles from different online magazines but I found Woman’s Day the best for me. Check these magazines out too for more ideas. The links should bring you to the checklist.
Now, if I can only delegate these tasks it would be great :).

I also did some spring cleaning (I refer to it as summer cleaning) the past few days when we had a partition constructed in our 3rd floor. The construction lasted for 5 days and you can imagine me supervising the cleaning just about everyday when the carpenters leave at 5pm. I don’t want the dusts and all the mess to pile up. What’s good is I have two assistants who do the dirty job, eh dyan you do it alone, right?

Hi Ate Marie,
.
That’s a make-over and not just cleaning
Yep, my husband and I do the dirty job over here unless we are prepared to pay an arm and a leg. Salary for 2 helpers there for a month is just enough to pay for a day for 1 helper here.

I wonder if anyone out there has any suggestions for removing the smell of cat urine? I have tried every product known to man and cat! NO KIDDING. Every thing that anyone suggests we try, to no avail. Our cat is so fantastically sweet that is just impossible to face the fact that in order to save our house and belongings we will have to put her down!!!! I can not imagine it, but this one cat has, quite literally, cost us thousands of dollars in carpets, mattresses, luggage, clothes and school projects/supplies. Recently, we thought our wedding album was destroyed (25 years!) but it was fine, the bag and cards nearby were “hit.” Any help out there?!! Please

I’ve actually been thinking about implementing the same practices in my home and residential cleaning business. Great thoughts and thank you for the helpful information.
