I’ve been meaning to set-up a food blog but I decided to put it in this blog since maintaining different blogs is a full time deal. My husband and I are usually frugal with alot of things by average working American standards but when it comes to food we look for high quality with reasonable prices. We enjoy all sorts of dishes brought from all over the world to our highly diverse area.
One of our favorite restaurants is Hunan Manor in Columbia, Maryland(about 20 minutes drive), they have excellent food and have very attentive wait staff. Very comfortable and welcoming ambiance completes a wonderful dining experience. An added bonus for the kids: a huge salt-water aquarium. We couldn’t ask for more for the reasonable prices they offer. We recently took a family friend for a long overdue birthday treat.
I also have to mention that my 5 year old daughter has been begging us to go and has been reminding us for 2 months about the birthday treat. She loves the pecking duck and the aquarium.

Our family favorite appetizer: combination Satay(beef, chicken, pork, lamb) with sweet peanut sauce. This is a meal on it’s own..

My daughter’s favorite pecking duck. With it’s crispy skin, rich and moist delicious dark meat, who could resist this one? We eat it straight(without the matching wrap and green onions).

My favorite tried and tested mixed vegatables in brown sauce.

I have been wanting to try their Lo Mein, I was pleasantly surprised with their non-greasy noodles.

Our friend ordered this one. I forgot the name but I found it too sweet. It’s a shrimp dish.

Hubby wanted to try something new, pineapple chicken. He liked it but I was too busy with the duck to appreciate it. Presentation was good though.
Of course we lacked the capacity to eat all of the food so it became lunch the next day. Good Chinese food, this certainly gets MyGoodFinds seal of approval.
This is not a sponsored post nor did we get a free meal.
