Ok, we all have our own guilty pleasures. One of them for me and my husband is having Yankee Candles in our home. I don’t smoke and only drink occassionally so I am allowed to have the pleasure of enjoying something that smells nice. Science doesn’t have to prove that pleasant smelling stuff makes anyone feel good! Why else would scent-related companies be making billions of dollars?
I always look forward to their sales. They are having their Labor Day Sale from August 30th to September 3. During their sale, the large jars are $15 from $22.
In the past, I tried to save money by buying cheaper versions but they just end up not being used because they either smell fake or funky. So what’s the point of buying something you don’t want to use as compared to buying something with $3 extra that perks up your mood for serveral months(depending on use). It’s also good to know that Yankee Candles don’t have lead in their wicks as compared to the cheap candles. Lead have been banned from car fuel so why inhale it in your house? I only buy Yankee Candles now, a brand I can trust.
