Good bye copper hello fiber. As of today, we are officially off cable and DSL. We are now surfing with the speed of light courtesy of fiber optics technology. Well, it’s 30% slower than 299,792,458 metres per second to be precise. The light has to pass through different channels and exchanges but how can I complain?
We now have Internet, phone and TV hooked up on FIOS. Images on the TV are crystal clear, we feel like we bought a new TV. For Internet, we have the lowest bandwidth we can get which is 5Mbps downloading [Read more...]
